Leah didn’t fall in love with yoga right away. In fact, she nearly abandoned it altogether.
Growing up in a gym, she was no stranger to physical exercise and stretching. So when she first tried yoga in 2006, it felt like nothing more than glorified flexibility training—empty, unfulfilling, and frustrating. For years, she pushed through classes that left her agitated instead of inspired, convinced that yoga simply wasn’t for her.
Everything changed when she found a teacher who shifted the focus inward. Breathwork, meditation, and the psychospiritual aspects of the practice transformed yoga from a routine into a deeply personal journey. She learned to modify poses, embrace props without shame, and honor her body’s needs. In the quiet of her own space, she tried chanting for the first time—and fell in love with yoga.
That journey led her to create Red Emerald Yoga, a space where strength, flexibility, and self-awareness come together in a way that feels empowering and deeply personal.
From 2011 to 2018, Leah worked as a physical conditioning coach and private yoga instructor for youth baseball teams in Southern California. She helped transform struggling teams into champions, guiding players toward mental resilience, fluid movement, and confidence. Several of her athletes earned full-ride scholarships, demonstrating that true growth encompasses both physical ability and mental resilience.
She has worked privately with surfers, helping them fine-tune their strength, balance, and mindset—essential skills that have helped some secure sponsorships and excel at the national level. Her approach isn’t just about movement—it’s about recognizing fears, overcoming obstacles, and unlocking potential through both body and mind.
Her coaching approach extends far beyond movement—it’s about overcoming fears, unlocking potential, and cultivating resilience in both body and mind. Recently, one of her spiritual coaching clients achieved a first-place victory in an international bodybuilding competition, proving that mindset, mental discipline, and spiritual alignment play a powerful role in high-performance success. While this competition wasn’t at the pro level, it was just two levels away, marking a major milestone toward elite competition.
Every coaching session—whether in yoga, strength training, or spiritual guidance—is designed to help clients achieve more than they believed possible, refining not only their technique but also their mental clarity, confidence, and strategic focus.
Leah blends multiple modalities to support her students on their physical, mental, and spiritual journeys. Whether in group sessions or private lessons, every practice is tailored to meet each person where they are, on that specific day.
Beyond yoga, Leah is a certified Tarot advisor, energy and boundaries practitioner, spiritual coach, chakra therapeutics practitioner, and ordained minister. As an ethical reader, she uses Tarot and Oracle as spiritual tools to empower decision-making, set boundaries, and restore confidence.
Yoga isn’t just something Leah does—it’s a state of being, a way of moving through the world with awareness, strength, and grace.
When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her surfing with her dog, experimenting with DIY projects, cooking, capturing moments through photography, reading, or making art. She holds a green belt in Kung Fu San Soo and believes that movement, mindfulness, and creativity are all connected—each one shaping a richer, more balanced life.
Yoga is everywhere. Now yoga begins!
