30-minute gentle and slow restorative yoga. Poses are held for a longer period of time, but should not be confused with yin yoga. Restorative yoga is more relaxing than yin yoga, but that doesn't mean that restorative yoga cannot be challenging.
This class will usually consist of 5-6 poses and be held for anywhere from 5-10 minutes.
Props such as blocks, blankets, and bolster pillows are recommended, but not required as pose variations without props will be given.
If you have sore knees, you might want to double your yoga mat or keep a folded towel nearby to give you a little bit of cushion.
If you don't have a bolster - roll or fold a blanket into the shape of a bolster or log. This can sometimes be used instead of a block.
